Making Progress in Provost

Dirt is moved and packed by heavy machinery being operated at the old Horizon Motel site which was torn down last year (see PN April 23, 2025) on the north side of Provost. A sign posted nearby on the fence (not shown) indicates that Bedford Commercial Developments, a company headquartered in Calgary, is spearheading the project. Kellie-Ann Kazakoff for the Town of Provost told The News that “the site has been approved for the development of a fuel station and a quick-service restaurant. Construction is expected to begin this summer, though a firm completion timeline has not yet been established.” These photos were taken Tuesday morning, May 5. ©Provost News Photo.
