All Town Councillors in by Acclamation
• Elections in Other Areas Planned
There will not be an election for the Town of Provost because all councillors and the mayor of Provost have been returned by acclamation on nomination day, Monday, September 17.

The Provost Municipal District No. 52 nomination day results are as follows: Division 1: Tom Schneider; Division 2 : there were no nominations so nominations continue to be open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon for a total of six days—until September 24, unless this position is filled before that date or an election is triggered by more than one candidate; Division 3: Len Kjos; Division 4: Barrie Tripp; Division 5: Jack Roworth; Division 6 will have an election with Darryl Motley, Larry Swanson and Tammy Sather running for councillor; and Division 7: Gillman (Fritz) Crone.

Nominations for the position of councillor for the Village of Czar are Marlene Brown - incumbent, Mary Dambrowsky - incumbent, Jason Manning and Thomas Wuest. Three out of four nominees are to be elected.

The Village of Hughenden will be having an election to fill the offices of councillor. Running are Doug Chambers, Aaron Gramlich, Jeff Redekop and Marje Swelin. Three out of four nominees are to be elected.

Those nominated for public office for the Village of Amisk and running for councillor are Tim Taylor, John Nice, Mervin Anholt, Arnold Nordin (incumbent), Debbie Currier (incumbent), Ross Dean (incumbent), Shelly Walters and Barry Bonner. Three out of eight nominees are to be elected.
Buffalo Trail Public Schools nominees for school board trustee are:

County of Minburn No. 27 (election to take place): Alice McLaughlin and Leonard Paul Grabas.

Documentary to be Produced, Shown in Museum
• Will Feature Pre-European Native Life at Archaeological Grounds
A third documentary that deals with the site at the Bodo archaeological grounds will be produced this fall and will feature life among Natives before Europeans made contact in the area.

Three people who will be involved with creating the approximately 10 minute long video met with three representatives of the Bodo Archaeological Society at the Provost Museum on Wednesday afternoon, September 5 so that general direction for the video could be established.
