Hairy Situation

Ashlyn Tainsh (left), had a hair raising experience at Hughenden Public School as Bernadette Blakey for the Telus World of Science engaged the Van de Graaff generator on Wednesday evening, March 13. Blakey, who lives in Edmonton travels to schools across Alberta for the outreach program called Science in Motion and demonstrated a variety of science and technology applications to students at the school. The visitor kept the charge down on this generator which is capable of reaching a high voltage.
